Blackthorn designed for wallpaper by J.H. Dearle in 1892 was first adapted for machine printed fabric in 1975 by Sanderson and became hugely popular. Today s versions are reproduced in authentic colours matching the original wallpaper samples and the mottled appearance gives the fabric a hand printed look.
Crafted in the UK factory, Morris & Co. wallpapers draw from original 19th-century William Morris designs from the archive. Founded in 1861, Morris & Co. continues to reproduce authentic, centuries-old designs that are emblematic of the Arts and Crafts movement.
